GlobalSat DG-500 เป็นอุปกรณ์บันทึกข้อมูลการเดินทาง (data logger) ด้วยสัญญาณดาวเทียม ประกอบด้วยอุปกรณ์รับสัญญาณGPSภายในตัวเครื่องที่กะทัดรัดทำให้ DG-500 ครบเครื่องในเรื่องของการใช้งานที่หลากหลาย และคุ้มค่า DG-500 จะบันทึก วัน เวลา ความเร็ว ความสูง และพิกัดตำแหน่ง ตามช่วงเวลาที่ตั้งไว้ด้วยความแม่นยำอย่างยิ่ง สามารถเพิ่มหน่วยความจำด้วย micro SD card และยังใช้เป็นตัวรับสัญญาณ GPS โดยการเชื่อมต่อผ่าน Bluetooth อีกด้วย

ข้อมูลที่บันทึกมาทั้งหมดสามารถถ่ายโอนไปยังคอมพิวเตอร์ได้โดยง่ายผ่านสาย USB แค่ต่อ DG-500 เข้ากับคอมพิวเตอร์แล้วถ่ายโอนข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมที่รวมอยู่ในชุด ผู้ใช้ก็สามารถดูข้อมูลที่บันทึกทาง Google Earth หรือ Google Map แบบอัตโนมัติ

GlobalSat DG-500 is a GPS data logger. With a GPS logger and antenna built in a miniature construction, DG-500 features an all-in-one, cost-effective GPS logger solution. The DG-500 records time, date, speed, altitude and GPS location at preset intervals.

All recorded GPS information can be downloaded to the computer. It is a convenient, economical way for later review of your recorded histories. Simply connect the DG-500 to your PC or Notebook, and then download the track-log to your PC for use with Windows based software utility. User can easily export the recorded points to Google Earth and Google Maps.
